Academics are currently looking for enthusiastic and experienced Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teachers who are looking to gain week-by-week, short, and long term supply assignments within our partnership secondary schools in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, and the Cheshire East.

Due to the recent demand we are currently welcoming applications from Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teachers with specialisms in French, Spanish, and German.

Our opportunities are great as they allow our teachers to be flexible with the days that they wish to work and these roles can be ideal for MFL Early Career Teachers (ECTs) as these roles historically have led to more long-term and permanent roles in some of our schools.

Roles Requirements

  • Hold the relevant languages qualification (PGCE, B. Ed or BA Hons) with UK Qualified Teaching Status (QTS/QTLS)
  • Be familiar with the National Curriculum and the Modern Foreign Languages programmes of study.
  • Have strong classroom and behaviour management with excellent subject knowledge and to have the ability to teach and inspire positive learning attitudes.
  • Be able to adapt quickly within a new school environment and to be a good team player.
  • Hold a current Enhanced DBS that is registered with the Update Service or to be prepared to apply for a new Enhanced DBS with ourselves (cost applied).

Please be aware that your daily rate will be dependent upon experience, prior qualifications, the supply requirement (short or long term) and the client rate that is currently available.
