Gleeson Recruitment Group are pleased to be working with a leading consumer services business, based in Staffordshire to recruit for a Social Media and Content Executive on a permanent, full time basis.

The role:

In this role you will be working within a strong brand team to deliver growth the businesses already strong and well established brand and maintain engagement with a ever changing target audience. You will deliver engaging and targeted social media campaigns across paid and organic social including Meta/Facebook, Tiktok, Instagram and LinkedIn,

We are looking for passionate, data-driven social media specialists who can grow awareness of the brand across these channels to support with business growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage social media budget to drive audience growth and engagement.
  • Oversee social campaign calendar, including scheduling, tracking, and content creation.
  • Manage local marketing initiatives, social inbox, and create seasonal toolkits.
  • Foster community engagement by responding to comments and collaborating with ambassadors.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to deliver content initiatives.
  • Ensure GDPR compliance for all competitions and content.
  • Develop and execute digital content strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Write, edit, and curate content for social media, blogs, and email.
  • Use data insights to optimise content performance and ROI.
  • Monitor and react to social trends, including user-generated content.
  • Produce KPI reports with actionable insights to boost reach and engagement.
  • Analyse competitors and identify brand-building opportunities.
  • Stay updated on trends and content innovations.

Candidate Criteria:

  • Previous experience in social media and content marketing and ability to work autonomously within this role.
  • Strong planning, communication, and data analysis skills.
  • Experience managing social campaigns, content calendars, and tools like Hootsuite and Mailchimp.
  • Ability to manage customer interactions and online reviews.
  • Passion for content creation and staying current with trends.
