My client is a leading, independent manufacturer in the Agricultural sector with over 25 years' experience providing machinery solutions nationwide. They are now looking to onboard an experienced Agricultural Engineer to bolster their established team in Cheshire. The ideal candidate will come from an Agricultural Service background, will be highly proficient with Hydraulic and Electrical systems and will have main dealer experience.

Agricultural Engineer Job Overview
- Service and maintain machinery to manufacturers specifications and to ensure machine reliability and safety
- Have a keen eye for detail, reporting machine defects and upselling the services provided by the company wherever possible
- Successfully diagnose and rectify electrical, hydraulic, powertrain and various other faults prior to initiating and completing a repair
- Fault finding, diagnosis and root cause analysis
- Complete a detailed report of work completed along with supporting photographs and documenting of all worked times
- Working both throughout and south of the Midlands in both a reactive and planned capacity.
Agricultural Engineer Job Requirements
- 5 years previous experience in an Agricultural Service position
- Well versed in the maintenance and repair of Hydraulic and Electrical systems
- Agricultural Manufacturer experience (New Holland, Massey Fergusons, CASE IH etc)
- Competent in the use of a range of Hand / Power tools
- Full Drivers licence
- Based locally to the Staffordshire area with good links to the M6 and M5
Agricultural Engineer Salary & Benefits
- Salary £35,000 - £40,000 DOE
- 28 days holiday inclusive of public holidays
- Monday - Friday, full time, permanent position
- Company van and fuel card
