Candidates should ideally possess a degree or HND/HNC in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field, with 2-5 years of industry experience in a CAD/design role.
Proficiency in CAD software such as Inventor or Revit, along with good attention to detail and communication skills, is essential.
The role requires flexibility to travel to customer sites, both in the UK and abroad, and an eagerness to progress within the company.

They are looking to take on a CAD Technician, on a permanent basis, in Coventry.The CAD Engineer / Mechanical Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

Be Degree/ HND/ HNC qualified in Mechanical Engineering or a similar Engineering subject
Graduate level will be considered as well as those with 2-5 years’ or more of industry experience working in a CAD / design role
Good attention to detail
Knowledge of CAD software – Inventor or Revit
Experience with Joinery, or any form of woodwork is desirable
Proficient with using Microsoft Office programmes
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work well alone as well as part of a team
Flexibility to travel as required as a large part of the role to customer sites, both in the UK and abroad
Someone who is keen to progress and develop with a company long term

The CAD Engineer / Mechanical Design Engineer role will involve:

Working as part of the Drawing Office
Supporting both the Projects and Process Engineering teams
Working to produce drawings using Inventor CAD software
Creating layouts and detailed drawings in line with standards
Keeping on top of project schedules
Checking and reviewing drawings
