Summary:

GI Pro are working with a leading equipment supplier for the energy sector based in Stafford and are recruiting for Assembly Technician to work on a full-time contract

The shifts are working a day shift giving a 37-hour paid week

Offering hourly rates of pay of £13.16 - £14.04 per hour, with overtime rates paid at an enhanced rate.

This is a full-time position

The company - Energy sector equipment provider

The role:

  • Assembly of Power Generation equipment from prefabricated parts
  • Assembly from drawings and using hand, and air tools.
  • Materials used are metal, plastic and wires.
  • Working within 6 assembly lines that each contain 8 stations.
  • Test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.
  • Identifies units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repairs as necessary.

The candidate:

Preferably Assembly experience with small products whilst working from drawings or diagrams.
