Think Recruitment have a new opportunity for a Senior Structural Engineer to join our client, working on a variety of interesting and technically challenging projects within the industrial and manufacturing sectors.

Our client are looking for an experienced Engineer to play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality structural projects on time and within budget while leading a team of engineers and technicians, collaborating with clients and ensuring the successful delivery of structural designs and calculations. To be considered for this position, the ideal candidate will have a background in:

  • Delivering structural engineering projects, ensuring quality, budget, and timelines are met.
  • Preparing and reviewing building regulations calculations and project specifications.
  • Managing project teams, resources, and budgets.
  • Developing project briefs and tendering for subcontractors.
  • Conducting structural surveys and preparing detailed reports.
  • Ensure compliance with QA standards and health and safety regulations.

Ideally Chartered or near Chartered with IStructE / ICE, you will have expertise in the design of steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, and timber and be proficient in Eurocodes, British Standards, and modern design software such as TEDDS.
