Role: Occupational Therapist Location: Staffordshire / Hybrid working Salary: £40,000 Eden Brown are working with a Private Client who are looking to appoint a permanent Peripatetic Occupational Therapist. This a full time role where you will be based from home and conducting face to face visits in Staffordshire. The post holder will have responsibility for the assessment of people with a disability and provide the appropriate recommendations to assist in the statutory obligations under current legislation this may include advice, provision of equipment, adaptations to the home and/or referral to other agencies and possibly assessment for Blue Badge. The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for the management of a caseload which may include the more vulnerable service users or those with complex needs. The Occupational Therapist will work on specific contracts with Local Authorities. The successful candidate will have experience/knowledge of the Disabled Facilities grant legislation/process and completed simple and complex assessments and plan approvals for Disabled Facilities grants. The role pays approximately £40,000 dependent on experience, plus a generous benefits package. In order to be considered for this role you must have: - A Degree in Occupational Therapy - UK HCPC Registration - Minimum of 3 years Post qualification experience within Adult social care - DFG knowledge and experience as outlined above.
