We are currently recruiting for Investigative Consultants in Stafford.
Duration:4 weeks initially (with possibility of extension)
Daily Rate:172.50 per day
We are seeking experienced Investigative Consultants to support with a large-scale investigation in the Staffordshire area. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a significant investigation and make a substantial impact on public safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough investigations
- Retrieve and review CCTV, helicopter, drone, EGT, and BWV evidence
- Identify and interview suspects and witnesses
- Prepare comprehensive case files for prosecution
- Contribute to the swift processing of existing evidence
- Outside enquiries and statement taking
- Support the timely progression of cases through the Criminal Justice system
- Collaborate with other team members and integrate with existing Police operations
Required Criteria:
- Policing background
- Previous experience using HOLMES.
- Extensive experience in conducting complex criminal investigations
- Strong understanding of CCTV and video evidence analysis
- Proficiency in interview techniques for both suspects and witnesses
- Experience in preparing case files for prosecution
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Proficiency in relevant police IT systems
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience in major crime investigations
- Current NPPV2 vetting or higher is desirable but not compulsory
- PIP2 accreditation or equivalent experience
