Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality Physics lessons to students across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and potentially Key Stage 5.
Design and implement engaging and differentiated lesson plans that cater to the varying needs of students.
Regularly assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
Foster a love for Physics through engaging practical experiments and innovative teaching methods.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the Science curriculum and improve student outcomes.
Participate in extracurricular activities, such as science clubs or events, to further promote student interest in Physics.
The Ideal Candidate:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a degree in Physics or a closely related subject.
Experience teaching Physics at secondary school level (ideally Key Stage 3 and 4)
Passion for Physics and the ability to convey complex concepts in an accessible and engaging way.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
A proactive and positive approach to classroom management.
A DBS on the update service or be willing to purchase a new one.
