An exceptionally rare opportunity has arisen for a strong, business winning Lettings Valuer to join a well established, highly respected, multi branch independent agent.

This role will see you covering the Staffordshire area, focused on winning new business. Once settled you will also be able to work from home for a portion of your working week.  

Lettings Valuer (Hybrid working) – Benefits

  • A basic salary of 25-27k DOE
  • Commission on top, based of new business gained. OTE 32k
  • Hybrid working, attending appointments locally and managing your own diary
  • Paid mileage
  • 21 days annual leave plus bank holidays

Lettings Valuer – Duties

  • To create and arrange market appraisals, identifying client needs and aligning them with suitable service levels
  • Have a deep understanding of our services and products, seeking cross-selling opportunities
  • Negotiate contracts and fees, ensuring all necessary documentation is obtained before property marketing
  • Take high quality photos and write accurate descriptions for market listings
  • To undertake the measure-up of properties in readiness for marketing.
  • To maintain an effective client list.
  • To conduct viewings and negotiate on lets
  • To assist in any other requested tasks to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the department.

Lettings Valuer – Experience Needed

  • Previous experience of around 2 years is desirable.
  • Up to date knowledge of current lettings legislation and landlord / tenant laws is desired but not essential.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Confidence in dealing with a variety of people both in face, over the phone and in person
  • Able to work as part of a team but also super efficient and self motivated to work alone.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Articulate, professional and well accustomed to a client facing role.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft packages and good keyboard skills.
  • ARLA qualified or willing to work towards an ARLA qualification.
  • Experience of working in a fast paced, busy environment.
  • A positive and adaptive attitude to help the team achieve their goals.
  • Pro-active and a desire to achieve results.
  • Full driving license required.
