This is an incredible opportunity to join a well-established, multi-branch independent Lettings and Estate Agency that has earned a reputation as one of the top agents in the region. They are currently seeking a dynamic and motivated Lettings Valuer to help grow their landlord portfolio, conduct valuations, and secure new business. This role offers the chance to make a significant impact and covers the Lichfield, Uttoxeter, and Stafford areas, with flexibility to work from any of these offices. Following a successful probation period, the option to work from home will also be available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attending Valuation Appointments: Meet with potential landlords to assess properties, provide accurate rental valuations, and present the company's services to secure new instructions.
  • Conducting Property Take-Ons: Ensure new properties are fully prepared for marketing by gathering all necessary details, organising professional photos, and completing compliance checks.
  • Marketing Properties: Use the company’s CRM system to create engaging property listings, ensuring all information is accurate and appealing to prospective tenants.
  • Follow-Up Communication with Landlords: Maintain regular contact with landlords, providing updates on valuations, marketing strategies, and tenant inquiries to build trust and long-term relationships.
  • Completing Desktop Valuations: Research market trends, analyse comparable properties, and generate precise rental valuations for landlords who may not yet be ready for in-person meetings.
  • Maximizing Referrals and Leads: Collaborate with the sales and lettings team to identify cross-selling opportunities, leverage existing relationships, and convert warm leads into new business.
  • Proactively Generating New Business: Actively seek out new landlords through networking, local marketing, and direct outreach, ensuring the company remains at the forefront of the local market.
  • Staying Updated on Market Trends: Monitor changes in the local property market to provide accurate valuations and offer informed advice to clients.
  • Ensuring Compliance: Verify that all properties meet legal and safety requirements before marketing, ensuring landlords are kept informed of their responsibilities.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience in a Lettings Valuer role within the residential lettings sector
  • A proven track record of success in a similar position
  • Strong knowledge of lettings legislation, particularly compliance requirements
  • A driven, professional, and enthusiastic attitude with a passion for securing business
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships
  • Full UK Driving License and Own Transport
