Job Title: Sourcing Specialist
Location: Stafford
Type: Contract - 6 Months
Salary: Circa 30 P/H DOE Umbrella
As a Sourcing Specialist you will be responsible for i the development, communication and execution of strategies to ensure realization of the business objectives for assigned commodity within the purchase family, which includes the Cost of Bill of Materials, Target Costing and Should-Be Costing activities.
As a Sourcing Specialist you will be responsible for the below:
- Ensure all active suppliers are approved and compliant (Supplier Connect / Complyworks)
- Enforce supplier strategy & Sourcing policies including management and optimization of supplier panels.
- Lead negotiations and allocate needs to specific suppliers.
As Sourcing Specialist it is essential you have the below
- MCIPS qualified, or working towards, Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or technical discipline, or a Bachelor's degree with 5 years' work experience in sourcing or procurement or 9 years work experience in sourcing or procurement.
- 3 years' work experience with technical depth/knowledge in assigned commodities, or 3 years of Commercial Sourcing, Supply Chain or Engineering experience
