Job Title: Quantity Surveyor
Location: Staffordshire (Office-Based)
Salary: Up to 50,000 (Depending on Experience)

Are you a Quantity Surveyor with experience in subcontracting, looking for your next big opportunity? We're working with a 25 year old growing interiors business based in Staffordshire, and they're on the hunt for a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join their team. With a turnover of around 11m and big ambitions to expand, this is a great time to get involved and grow with the company.

What You'll Be Doing:

You'll be managing the numbers across a variety of projects for housing developers and contractors, covering everything from plastering and dry lining to partitioning, rendering, and screeding. Your day-to-day will involve putting together cost estimates, keeping an eye on budgets, and ensuring projects are delivered profitably and on time. You'll also be working closely with the project team and managing relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.

What We're Looking For:

  • Ideally, you'll have at least a few years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, particularly with a subcontracting background.
  • You'll know your way around contracts and commercial management, especially when it comes to residential projects.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills are a must - you'll be dealing with all sorts of people, from subcontractors to suppliers.
  • Experience with cost management software would be handy, and of course, you'll need a full UK driving licence.

Why This Role?

This is a company that's going places. With solid growth plans and a track record of working with leading developers and contractors, there's plenty of room for progression. You'll be part of a friendly, down-to-earth team where your hard work will be recognised, and you'll have the chance to make a real impact as the company grows.
