Regional HR Business Partner

  • Job Type: Full-time, Remote with travel

We are looking for an HR Business Partner to join a leading healthcare organisation. This remote role involves travel across sites in Stoke on Trent and the region. The successful candidate will work closely with the Managing Director and the Head of HR Operations to implement the HR strategy, focusing on retention, engagement, culture, wellbeing, and performance management.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Collaborate with the Managing Director to support the region’s growth, performance, and objectives.
  • Develop a strategic people agenda in alignment with the operational agenda.
  • Lead projects to enhance colleague engagement and retention.
  • Act as a key member of the Regional Senior Management Team, providing support, advice, and challenge.
  • Analyse data to inform recruitment, retention, and engagement initiatives.
  • Partner with the Senior Management Team on talent mapping and succession planning.
  • Build relationships with internal stakeholders, including the Central People Teams.
  • Guide the Regional HR Advisor and Senior Management Teams on complex employee relations cases.
  • Participate in senior management recruitment and appointments.
  • Contribute to regional business reviews and Senior Management Team meetings.
  • Undertake ad hoc project work to support organisational priorities.
  • Advise on change management initiatives, including restructures and TUPE transfers.
  • Support the induction, coaching, training, and development of site leaders.
  • Contribute to the development of Group policies and procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • CIPD qualification (Level 5 or 7 preferred).
  • Knowledge of employment laws and practices.
  • Strong commercial acumen.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask.
  • Resilient under pressure and comfortable with ambiguity.
  • Proactive, forward-thinking, and creative.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and coaching skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows environment and data analysis.
  • Experience in a Business Partner role within a matrix/shared services model.
  • Multi-site organisation experience and ability to provide remote advice.
  • Strategic thinking with experience in organisational change.
  • Excellent communication skills and relationship-building remotely.
