About the Role:We're looking for a proactive and dynamic HR Recruitment Officer to take charge of delivering an efficient recruitment service for both permanent and temporary positions across the organisation. You'll play a key role in sourcing high-quality candidates and coordinating the recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes ensuring a seamless experience for both candidates and hiring managers.

Key Responsibilities: HR Recruitment Officer

  • Manage all recruitment activities, including updating job specs, creating adverts via Broadbean, and posting on job sites like Indeed and the organisation's website.
  • Ensure clear and accurate communication with candidates and managers, delivering top-notch service at every stage of the process.
  • Oversee the preparation and sharing of shortlisting grids, interview invitations, references, offer letters, contracts, rejection letters, and payroll forms through iTrent.
  • Actively source candidates using LinkedIn and other platforms.
  • Negotiate with partner agencies for both temporary and permanent roles, securing competitive rates through tender processes.
  • Organise recruitment days and assessment centres, while building a staff bank to reduce reliance on agencies.
  • Track recruitment spend, including agency fees, and ensure budgets are adhered to.
  • Produce statistical reports for Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and Equality Impact Assessment (EIA) data, supporting diversity and inclusion goals.

Knowledge & Experience: HR Recruitment Officer

  • CIPD Level 3 qualified (or willing to work towards).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR systems such as iTrent.
  • Previous experience in recruitment and onboarding processes.
  • The successful candidate will need to obtain an Enhanced DBS disclosure.
