We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Food Technology Teacher to join our team for the remainder of the academic year.

Job Description: We are looking for a passionate and qualified Food Technology Teacher to teach KS3 and KS4 students. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and informative lessons, as well as preparing students for their GCSE examinations. This is a temporary position starting after Easter and continuing until the end of the summer term.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in Food Technology to KS3 and KS4 students.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and success.
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to support their development.
  • Prepare students for their GCSE examinations, ensuring they are well-equipped to achieve their full potential.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching Food Technology.
  • Experience working with KS3 and KS4 students, including delivering GCSE classes.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of our diverse student population.
