Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and interactive science lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
Plan and prepare lesson materials in accordance with the curriculum and students' needs
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active learning and scientific curiosity
Assess and track student progress through assignments, exams, and other assessments
Support students' personal and academic development, both inside and outside the classroom
Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
A degree in a science-related subject
Strong understanding of the national curriculum for Science
Experience teaching Science at secondary school level
Excellent communication and classroom management skills
Passion for inspiring students and helping them achieve their potential
Desirable:
Experience in teaching all three sciences (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics) is an advantage but not essential
