Pharmacy Assistant

We have an exciting opportunity for an outgoing and motivated Pharmacy/Stores Assistant to join our client's team in the public sector. The successful post holder will provide support to a busy department to prepare and dispense various equipment and supplies to the multiple teams across site.

Applicants will be required to undergo a DBS check. You will need to provide full work history and references covering the past 3 years.

Full time- Monday-Friday 9:00AM-5:20PM.

Rate from £11.44PH

Location: Stafford

Temporary ongoing role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with stock control and ensure proper storage and expiration dates
  • Perform accurate data entry to maintain records and medication information
  • Assist in preparing and dispensing medications
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth daily operations

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a stores or similar setting is preferred
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Proficiency in data entry and computer skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
