Position: Locum Band 5 Substance Misuse Recovery Worker
Location: Stafford
Hours: Full-time, 08:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Duration: 3-month placement
Rate: £19.06 to £20.06 per hour (depending on experience)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Substance Misuse Recovery Worker to join our Psychosocial Services team on a locum basis. This exciting opportunity involves working within a dynamic environment, supporting patients with substance misuse issues to achieve recovery and positive change.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering high-quality psychosocial interventions and support to individuals with substance misuse challenges.
  • Collaborating effectively with the Psychosocial Services team to provide tailored recovery plans.
  • Facilitating group and one-to-one sessions to support patients' recovery journey.
  • Conducting assessments, care planning, and risk management.
  • Maintaining accurate and confidential records in line with organizational standards.

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience working with individuals experiencing substance misuse challenges.
  • Clearance: Must be prison cleared and able to start immediately.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment: A compassionate, patient-focused approach to care and recovery support.
