SEN Teaching AssistantAre you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs (SEN)? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team, supporting children aged 5-11 with a range of needs including ASD, MLD, and SLD.Key Details:

  • Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
  • Location: Stafford
  • Salary: Minimum of £83.33 per day
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 15:30
  • Contract: Temporary agency supply, long-term and short-term roles available

Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to children with SEN, ensuring they achieve their full potential.
  • Work collaboratively with the classroom teacher to implement individual learning plans.
  • Assist with the preparation of learning materials and the classroom environment.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and social interaction amongst students.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of children under your care.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with SEN children is preferred but not essential.
  • A patient, caring, and adaptable approach to working with children.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A relevant teaching assistant or childcare qualification is desirable.
