We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in a SEMH Secondary school local to Stone/Stafford. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic environment, providing essential support to pupils with a range of needs. The location is ideal for drivers, offering easy access and convenience.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to pupils with special educational needs.
- Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and support the learning and development of pupils.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
- Support pupils with personal care needs, if required.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children with special educational needs.
- A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Relevant qualifications or training in special educational needs (desirable but not essential).
