Key responsibilities:

• Develop and execute global category strategies for indirect spend categories.
• Lead negotiations and contract management with key suppliers.
• Drive cost saving initiatives and improve supplier performance.
• Monitor market trends and identify new sourcing opportunities.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align procurement activities with the wider business objectives.
• Managing and coaching your procurement team.
• Assisting in the recruitment of new personnel.

Essential experience:

• Proven experience in category management, preferably within a global manufacturing environment
• Indirect spend management, although direct procurement would also be considered
• Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills
• Background of coaching/mentoring procurement teams
