Are you an experienced Warehouseand Logistics Manager looking for a new career move?

If so, we are recruiting for a specialist manufacturer based near Stafford who design and distribute hardware solutions into the fenestration industry.

The Warehouse and Logistics Manager will work within a team supporting supply chain and logistics operations, from ordering and stock level management with suppliers in Asia and Europe, to going hands on in the warehouse supporting the running and logistics. The ideal candidate will possess warehouse and logistics experience and be willing to take a hands-on approach to the logistics and warehousing role. This role will also include supporting the internal sales team reporting directly to the company directors on all aspects of supply chain and warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supply Chain Management: Work with Operations Director to on supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, and distribution.
  • Supplier Relations: Attend meetings on conference with suppliers in Asia to ensure orders are up to date and delivery times are monitored.
  • Stock Management: Monitor and manage stock levels to ensure optimal inventory without overstocking, including regular inventory audits.
  • Warehouse Operations: Get hands on with the warehouse operations to ensure efficient storage, handling, and distribution of products. Implement best practices for warehouse management.
  • Logistics Coordination: Coordinate logistics activities to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods. Manage transportation and delivery schedules.
  • Hands-On Involvement: Be prepared to take a hands-on approach in warehouse and logistics operations when necessary to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.
  • Team Support: Work closely with internal sales support staff to ensure alignment between sales forecasts and supply chain activities. Provide support and guidance as needed.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present reports on supply chain and warehouse performance to company directors, highlighting key metrics, issues, and improvement opportunities.
