E-ppl Ltd is a leading company in the automotive industry, providing Managed Services to OEMs within the UK and overseas. Our projects encompass a wide range of activities, from launch support projects to quality campaigns.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Coachbuilder to join our team based in the Staffordshire area. In this role you will be responsible for fabricating complex parts and assemblies to support the manufacturing process. You will also be responsible for fitting and assembling components to utility vans.

The main roles and responsibilities for the successful candidate:

  • Using hand tools and basic cutting machinery to modify and alter the vehicle and parts.
  • Coachbuilder will be carrying out duties involving modifying vehicles, building, assembling, and fitting various bespoke assemblies’ parts and components to the vehicles.
  • Fitting and assembly of metal, wood, and laminate components to vehicles during the assembly process in accordance with the customer and build specifications.
  • Use site equipment and/or hand tools associated with the manufactures.
  • Consulting on and resolving build and quality issues as the arise.
  • Working in a safe manner, following safety procedures in an automotive assembly environment.
  • Building full vehicles and associated sub-assemblies following supplied build instructions.

Requirements

  • Experience using common hand tools and power tools.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a professional workshop environment.
  • NVQ or equivalent qualifications in relation to this role.
  • Must have own tools.
  • Previous experience within a SVO or niche vehicle operations, motor sports teams, or automotive service network is preferred.

Hours of are Monday – Thursday 8:00am – 5:00pm Friday 8:00am – 2:00pm.
