Orka Financial is currently recruiting a Financial Accountant on an interim basis for a client based in Staines. This role is needed to cover a maternity leave and will run for a minimum of 12 months.
Your main responsibilities will revolve around reporting under UKGAAP, ensuring that balance sheet reconciliations and P&L reporting is performed accurately and on time. You will also prepare the statutory returns and be the main point of contact for the auditors.
In order to be considered for this role, you will need to be ACA or ACCA qualified, preferably with a strong audit background and ideally having worked in practice.
The lady going on maternity will be with the business until the end of February, however, our client would like someone in place asap to maximise the handover.
This role will be hybrid with three days per week in the office.
