An exciting role has arisen for a Senior Financial Accountant to join a market-leading company based in Staines.
This role offers exposure to senior stakeholders, various routes for progression and hybrid working options.
Responsibilities:
- Ownership of the month end close process, including journals, analysis and reporting.
- Ensuring compliance with regulations, including VAT returns and SOX controls
- Perform Balance Sheet reconciliations and commentary
- Prepare and submit audit information to a professional standard and be a key contact for the statutory audits.
- Prepare UK GAAP trial balance and financial statements
- Partner with the UK Accounting Director and Deputy Accounting director with process and SOX improvements
- Build close working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Streamlining processes
- Prepare detailed calculations for employee costs, bad debt and intercompany
- Post journals and present for scrutiny to management and auditors
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
Requirements:
- Microsoft Office essential (Advanced Excel, Basic Word and PowerPoint)
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA)
- ERP Oracle and Hyperion Planning experience preferred
