Job Title: Sales Consultant
Job Type: Full-Time Permanent
Salary: 25k to 30k
Location: Staines
Hours: Flexible hours 37.5 hours per week with the opportunity of hybrid working after probation.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute regional sales strategies and plans to achieve company revenue targets.
- Identify and connect with high-value prospects (Freight Forwarders and Banks) to build a strong sales pipeline.
- Develop and expand relationships with existing bank customers and uncover new sales opportunities.
- Engage with prospects through persistent outreach (phone, email, LinkedIn, etc.) to generate new business.
- Maintain up-to-date records in Salesforce, including tasks, leads, accounts, and opportunities.
- Work closely with Management, Operations, and Solutions teams regionally and globally to meet company goals.
- Research market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and inform strategy.
- Represent the company at regional trade shows, events, and thought leadership activities to raise brand awareness.
- Prepare and deliver regular performance reports to track progress and align with company objectives.
Desirable:
- Proven experience in sales, particularly in financial services, trade services, or SaaS solutions.
- Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with Exporters, Banks, and key stakeholders.
- Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking with a focus on achieving sales goals.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to sales and lead generation.
- Knowledge of logistics, freight, SaaS solutions, or the financial sector is highly desirable
