The Role of a Maintenance Supervisor
Reporting to the General Manager you will lead a small team of maintenance fitters responsible for the planned and re-active mechanical maintenance of the Recycling Processing Plant.
As Maintenance Manager you will be responsible for planning the scheduling of preventative maintenance and overseeing the adherence and timely completion of work carried out.
As our Maintenance Manager you will ensure that any mechanical problems are rectified as a priority, limiting down time of the production facility.
As our Maintenance Manager you will create a strong team work ethic and will mentor and motivate others.
The Successful Maintenance Manager
The successful candidate will have a relevant mechanical maintenance background, educated to minimum of HND in an engineering discipline and/or time served apprentice with a proven history of self-development post qualifying.
The successful maintenance manager will have experience working in manufacturing, waste management or with heavy plant machinery.
You will have previous experience of leading and managing maintenance teams.
You may be at a team leader or supervisor level looking for the next progressive step in your career.
Ideally already trained to IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent.
Previous experience of carrying out risk assessments in the workplace and documenting safe working procedures.
A proven history of fault finding and implementation of corrective actions.
The Successful Maintenance Manager will have good communication skills and the ability to work positively in a team environment.
The Successful Candidate will have good IT skills.
