HGV Driver – £35,000 to £39,000 – Staines, MiddlesexWe’re looking for a reliable, safety-conscious HGV Driver to join our team in Staines, Middlesex.   • Driving Duties – Operate HGV vehicles to deliver materials to various sites, following road safety laws and company policies.
  • Yard Support – Get involved with general yard duties, helping to keep operations running smoothly.
  • Health & Safety – Maintain high safety standards on the road, on-site, and during any loading or unloading.
  • Vehicle Maintenance – Carry out routine vehicle checks and report any defects promptly.
  • Documentation – Accurately complete delivery notes, logs, and all relevant paperwork.
  • Teamwork – Work closely with colleagues to ensure efficient daily operations.
What we’re looking for:
  • A valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV licence
  • Proven experience in HGV driving and a strong awareness of safety practices
  • A proactive, reliable approach and a willingness to contribute to a team
  • Good attention to detail and the ability to stay organised
Beneficial but not essential:
  • HIAB experience or certification – training provided for the right candidate
  • Forklift experience or licence – an advantage, but not required
  • Familiarity with FORS procedures – training available
  • Experience delivering to construction or building material sites
  • Knowledge of London and surrounding delivery areas
  • Additional qualifications such as a CSCS card or CPC
