Location of the HGV Recovery Driver / HGV Class 1 Driver / HGV Class 2 Driver / Recovery Driver / Breakdown Recovery Driver: Heathrow

Salary of the HGV Recovery Driver / HGV Class 1 Driver / HGV Class 2 Driver / Recovery Driver / Breakdown Recovery Driver: 30,000 - 50,000 Depending on experience, plus Overtime and Service van for Breakdowns

Hours of work for theHGV Recovery Driver / HGV Class 1 Driver / HGV Class 2 Driver / Recovery Driver / Breakdown Recovery Driver: Monday to Friday 08:00am - 18:00pm - plus call out roster

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a HGV Recovery Driver / HGV Class 1 Driver / HGV Class 2 Driver / Recovery Driver / Breakdown Recovery Driver to join my clients team in Heathrow.They arelooking for an experienced breakdown / recovery driver to provide and maintain a professional breakdown and recovery service to their clients. This role is varied and fast faced and they require someone who can carry out minor repairs and recovery work for cars, light commercial, heavy goods and PSV vehicles.

Daily Tasks for the HGV Recovery Driver / Breakdown Driver:

Responsible for Breakdown / Recoveries and planning
Deliver excellent frontline customer service
Responsible for the delivery of driver-based information regarding daily, weekly and defect maintenance processes whilst ensuring minimal risk and optimum safety
To be available for callout roster as required and participate in working flexible hours, (with a core working there will be a need to carry out evening and weekend work, as the service needs dictate)

Essential Skills & Qualifications for HGV Recovery Driver / HGV Class 1 Driver / HGV Class 2 Driver / Recovery Driver / Breakdown Recovery Driverrole:

Effective Communication and People Skills
Ability to work on own initiative
Ability to clearly explain technical issues
Ability to concentrate for long periods of time
Competent level of fitness
Ability to work under pressure
Reporting skills
High attention to detail
Good interpersonal abilities to deal with a wide range of customers
Ability to complete paperwork
Good written and spoken communication skills
Recovery Certification Desirable (Although they can provide Recovery Training for the right candidate)
Full 5 year work history
Driving license to the appropriate category (Class 1/2)
Digital tachograph card
