A dynamic, multi-site Freight Forwarding company is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join their Heathrow office. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on freight forwarding experience, with skills in operations, key account management, and business development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and manage a strong customer portfolio across Air Freight services, identifying new opportunities to drive business growth.
  • Take full ownership of the sales process, from prospecting to closing deals, while meeting GP growth targets within a structured sales framework.
  • Actively generate leads, nurture relationships with new and returning clients, and capitalize on referrals from company operations.
  • Handle negotiations on price, delivery, and terms to ensure successful deal closures.
  • Collaborate closely with the Operations team for a seamless handover and integration of new clients.
  • Utilize CRM software to track and manage your pipeline, maintaining an organized approach to sales activities.
