As part of Heathrow's Net Zero strategy, the whole of the power supply is to be upgraded over the coming years. The site is to be fed from the National Grid via a complex substation network.
Could you be the person to lead the small on site civil and structural design team working alongside UKPN for this exciting challenge?
You would be employed by a dynamic and creative design consultancy who have been awarded this project, to lead their on site design team based at Heathrow.
The firm is a financially robust design consultancy practice, with many major top name clients.
The current team at Heathrow has three design engineers and two technicians and needs to grow further.
You will be responsible for overseeing the design, including the detailed design of the new substations, developing and managing the team, carrying out business development for future projects and building relationships.
You should be Chartered MICE or MIStructE, with a strong civil/structural design background which must include substation projects, a strong leader, project manager and relationship builder.
In addition to base salary there is 25 days holiday, healthcare, critical illness insurance, bonus and pension.
