I am recruiting for a Business Development Executive to generate revenue and build my clients market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships. This role involves selling their products to help their clients improve administrative efficiency and providing account management to key client accounts.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Prospect for potential new clients and convert these opportunities into increased business, focusing on individual specialist solutions.
  • Identify potential clients and the decision-makers within the client organisation.
  • Research and build relationships with new clients.
  • Plan approaches and work with the team to develop proposals that address the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives.
  • Participate in pricing the solution/service and handle objections to reach a positive conclusion.
  • Maintain long-term relationships with accounts and maximise sales opportunities.
  • Present new products and services to enhance existing relationships.
  • Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback on market and current trends.
  • Submit progress reports, ensure data accuracy within the company’s CRM, and forecast sales targets.
  • Track and record activity on accounts to meet sales targets.
  • Provide presentations to existing and new business and work with internal colleagues to meet customer needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Graduate with 1-2 years’ experience in a sales environment.
  • Experience in account management.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Understanding of medical/clinical terminology is advantageous.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to make sense of data and report on it.
  • Attention to detail and effective time management.
  • Organised, adaptable, flexible, and a good team player.
  • Willingness to learn new skills, drive change, and solve problems using initiative.
  • Familiarity with CRM or a sales management system.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
