Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)Based in Staines, Nr HeathrowRecycling Industry£55,000.00 p/a5 day week with one day being a Saturday or SundayWe are seeking a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrically Biased) to join a dynamic team environment. This role requires a highly skilled individual with experience in industrial maintenance, particularly in bulk handling or waste processing environments. You will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our SRF (Solid Recovered Fuel) processing facility, with a focus on electrical maintenance, high and low voltage machinery, and PLC fault finding. You will collaborate with the Operations Team to keep equipment running efficiently while adhering to health, safety, and environmental standards.Key Responsibilities * Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems and machinery in line with site requirements.* Troubleshoot and resolve issues with high and low voltage circuits and PLC systems.* Provide mechanical maintenance support to colleagues. * Perform planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and unplanned repairs to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules.* Lead and engage with team members to prioritize tasks and distribute workload effectively.* Ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out safely and in compliance with HSE regulations.* Provide technical support and training to operational staff to enhance performance and safety.* Assist with job planning and scheduling to ensure the maintenance team meets operational goals.* Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, suggesting and implementing best practices and process optimizations.Essential Skills & Qualifications:* Proven experience in an electrical maintenance role, ideally within an industrial or bulk handling environment.* Excellent understanding of mechanical principles, good experience dealing with mechanical faults.* Strong understanding of high and low voltage machinery and electrical circuits.* Experience with PLC fault finding is highly desirable.* Strong leadership skills with the ability to engage and motivate a team.* Solid knowledge of health, safety, and environmental standards.* Ability to adapt to varying responsibilities and work collaboratively within a team.* Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends (compromise is possible).Desired Attributes:* Proactive approach to problem-solving and troubleshooting.* Excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.* Positive, team-oriented mindset with a focus on safety and continuous improvement.* Willingness to travel between sites as required.Why Us?* Be part of a growing company in the environmentally focused recycling sector.* Work in a dynamic, state-of-the-art facility with cutting-edge technology.* Opportunity for career progression as the company expands.* Competitive salary and benefits package.Interested parties should contact Mark Smith on or send your CV to
