From weddings to corporate events and charity galas, we need a dedicated Sales and Marketing Manager to lead the central sales and marketing team and maximise the commercial potential of our venues.This role is about communication as much as organisation. You’ll work with the Head of Events and Commercial Services and your Sales and Marketing team to deliver a pro-active sales and marketing strategy for the commercial events business across the six palaces. You will market, sell and promote the venue hire offer across the Historic Royal Palaces portfolio and build relationships with third parties to increase new and repeat business. You will also represent the venues at trade shows and exhibitions both in the UK and abroad.Essential requirements to be successful in the role are:• Recent event sales experience within the Unique Venue or MICE sector.• Experience of business development and account management.• Creative thinker and solutions focussed.• Proactive and innovative, gathering ideas and content to help promote our charity.• Desire to network and grow contacts within the events industry. • Possessing the ability to work on your own initiative, you must be flexible and adaptable, with the ability to engage personably with all stake holders.
