We are recruiting experienced and efficient Nursery Practitioners for our well-established nursery setting in Longford Village near Heathrow Airport. We are looking for Nursery Practitioners to work as part of a team to assist in providing a safe, secure and stimulating environment for children. To plan and assess based on children's individual needs and support them in their development. To work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, carers and other multi professionals. To be committed to safeguarding and creating an inclusive environment.

You will be joining a highly skilled team that are customer focused which believes in developing the staff and achieving the best start for the children in the care. We offer great, well resourced, learning environments, collaborative approaches to teaching and learning and we need candidates with energy, enthusiasm and a commitment to support us in this work.

Responsibilities

  • Creating stimulating play for children inside and outside
  • Carrying out and writing observations
  • Planning activities for your key children
  • Personal care of the children
  • Completing daily records of the children's activities
  • Sharing information with parents
  • Participating in team meetings

Requirements

  • MUST have an NVQ 2 or 3 in childcare and education
  • A genuine passion and interest in working with children
  • A team player who uses their own initiative
  • Punctual and reliable
  • DBS checked and registered on the update service

Experience

  • Childcare: 1 year (preferred)
