Our client are looking for a Health & Safety expert to join their team at their HQ in Staines. The ideal candidate will have working experience of current HSE management practices in the work place and conducting risk assessments.Key Responsibilities
  • To be the subject matter expert on health and safety matters.
  • To drive the implementation of HSE policies and ensure compliance with relevant statutory requirements.
  • Creating learning resources and delivering Health and Safety training to promote compliance and awareness of policies.
  • To promote a positive health and safety culture amongst staff, contractors, and visitors.
  • To identify and support the implementation of energy-saving measures to help the client achieve its energy efficiency objectives.
Key Attributes
  • NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, IEMA Foundation course in Environmental Management or equivalent (desirable).
  • Knowledge of ISO 45001 - HSMS
  • Working experience of health and safety management practices in the workplace.
  • Experienced at data capture, analysis and reporting
  • Team player who meets challenges with a pragmatic and resilient approach.
  • A critical thinker and an engaging communicator, able to reach a wide cross-section of people to promote safe and new ways of working.
