- To be the subject matter expert on health and safety matters.
- To drive the implementation of HSE policies and ensure compliance with relevant statutory requirements.
- Creating learning resources and delivering Health and Safety training to promote compliance and awareness of policies.
- To promote a positive health and safety culture amongst staff, contractors, and visitors.
- To identify and support the implementation of energy-saving measures to help the client achieve its energy efficiency objectives.
- NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, IEMA Foundation course in Environmental Management or equivalent (desirable).
- Knowledge of ISO 45001 - HSMS
- Working experience of health and safety management practices in the workplace.
- Experienced at data capture, analysis and reporting
- Team player who meets challenges with a pragmatic and resilient approach.
- A critical thinker and an engaging communicator, able to reach a wide cross-section of people to promote safe and new ways of working.
