What You'll Do:As our HR Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our team feels valued, motivated, and engaged. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Attract top talent, conduct interviews, and ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new hires.
  • Employee Relations: Foster a supportive environment by addressing employee concerns, mediating disputes, and promoting a positive work culture.
  • Policy Development: Help create and implement HR policies that enhance employee satisfaction and align with our company values.
  • Training & Development: Identify training needs, coordinate learning opportunities, and support career development initiatives.
  • Performance Management: Assist in the performance appraisal process to help employees reach their full potential.
  • Compliance: Ensure all HR practises comply with relevant laws and regulations, keeping our workplace safe and respectful.
  • HR Administration: Maintain accurate employee records and contribute to the efficient running of the HR department.
  • Represent values in providing a great service to all colleagues across all aspects of HR processes, managing queries and processes including but limited to; employee relations, reward and wellbeing, absence management, probation and appraisal monitoring.
  • Support managers with HR processes and ensure that all activities are fully compliance with current legislation, statutory requirements and company policy.
  • Payroll: Ensuring matters relating to payroll (for example, contract changes) are managed in a timely and accurate manner with clear audit trail and interface with payroll processes and requirements.

Who You Are:To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • CIPD Level 5 or equivalent significantly demonstrable experience
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practises and employment legislation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships at all levels.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a passion for supporting others.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Driving licence and own transport in order to travel to other sites in addition to head office
