Key Responsibilities:

  • Play a pivotal role in defining 3GPP standards, specifically within CT1 or SA2 working groups, focusing on UE-Core Network protocols, system architecture, and services.

  • Lead research initiatives in system architecture and services for 5G and 6G, directly influencing future telecommunications standards.

  • Identify and drive key technology innovations, contributing to both standardization efforts and future product development.

  • Collaborate with global teams and industry stakeholders to enhance company influence within 3GPP.

  • Draft high-quality technical contributions, patents, and reports to support standardization activities.

  • Monitor emerging trends in telecommunications standards and proactively address potential challenges for implementation teams.

  • Build strong relationships with operators and industry partners to strengthen early involvement in standardization processes.

  • Represent the company at international 3GPP meetings and provide strategic insights to internal teams.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, Natural Sciences, Mathematics, or related fields.

  • Extensive experience in telecommunications research, standardization, or development, with a strong track record in 3GPP SA2 or CT1 (or related groups such as SA3, CT4).

  • In-depth understanding of mobile telecommunications systems (2G, 3G, 4G, 5G) and knowledge of future network evolutions.

  • Experience in AI/ML applications in telecommunications is highly valued.

  • Strong technical writing skills, with a history of patent contributions or published research.

  • Excellent negotiation, persuasion, and communication skills, with the ability to influence industry decision-making.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across global teams in a fast-paced environment.

  • Willingness to travel internationally for standards meetings and industry events.
