We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to join our kitchen team at a nursing home in Staines. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy kitchen environment and wants to contribute to the well-being of our residents by helping to prepare and serve nutritious meals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the chef with meal preparation and serving
  • Ensuring the kitchen and dining areas are clean, tidy, and hygienic at all times
  • Washing dishes and kitchen equipment
  • Following food safety standards and regulations
  • Assisting with stock control and rotation
  • Supporting the catering team in delivering high-quality meals to residents

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not essential
  • A team player with a positive attitude
  • Good communication and time management skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (training can be provided)
  • A caring and patient nature, with a commitment to the well-being of our residents
