Overview

Highly successful SME Manufacturing Company require experienced Production Planner to work across key corporate departments to ensure an effective end to end production process.

About the role

The Production Planner will support business operations through management of the entire production planning process from receipt of the initial customer order to, purchasing of components, through manufacturing and finally customer order delivery. Key duties of the role include:

  • Entering agreed customer orders onto the ERP system and scheduling resources
  • Coordinate and streamline project planning to achieve 100% OTD to customers
  • Communicate required manufacturing components to the Purchasing Department to ensure supply chain visibility
  • Develop plans overseeing the entire production cycle, ensuring efficiency of labour & resources and matching demand with production.
  • Integrate all activities within the production process and ensure effective communication to key stakeholders.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of the production process and maintain the company culture of continuous improvement.
  • Provide real time information to improve customer service and reduce labour and material variances
  • Develop and improve the production planning & control process based on measurable objectives and KPIs.

About you:

  • Graduate calibre you will have a proven track record within Production Planning gained within a relevant manufacturing background.
  • The successful candidate will have knowledge of ERP & MRP systems and possess advanced Excel skills
  • Applicants should be commercially aware, have excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively liaise with customers and key business stakeholders
