Learning Support Assistant / Teaching Assistant - Staines-upon-Thames Area (Primary School)

Milk Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant (LSA) or Teaching Assistant to join a wonderful Primary School in the Staines-upon-Thames area. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals passionate about supporting young learners in their educational journey. What You’ll Be Doing in the Role:

  • Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities that meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Promoting inclusion and helping students develop social and emotional skills in a positive and nurturing environment.
  • Delivering catch-up sessions to help children who may need extra support in key areas such as literacy and numeracy.
  • Providing consistent, tailored support for pupils with special educational needs (SEN) or other additional learning requirements.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Recent and relevant experience in a Primary or Early Years educational setting (e.g., LSA, Teaching Assistant, or similar role).
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills, with the ability to support children’s academic development.
  • Holds a Level 2/3 qualification (CACHE, Childcare, NNEB, or similar) or relevant experience working with young children.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, under the guidance of the class teacher, to meet the individual needs of students.
