Our client is an operator in the environmental sector who are seeking a site based, HSEQ Coordinator at their recycling facility.This is an important site based role, supporting the Group H&S Manager, in a stable and buoyant industry sector and a great opportunity to develop your career.
AsHealth & Safety Coordinator:
- Youll support our Group Health & Safety Manager ensuring our business remains compliant with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Youll also ensure all data is accurate for legally required reporting, performance monitoring and measurement needs.
- As the site Health & Safety Co-ordinator you will provide operational support in managing safety.
- Working with our Shift Supervisors you will undertake daily safety walks.
- Identify and record any hazards, escalating and taking appropriate action required.
- Working with our Shift Supervisors you will provide accurate and timely daily, weekly, and monthly data
- You will ensure periodic audits are scheduled to ensure ongoing compliance.
- You will deliver site inductions to new starters.
- You will support the HSEQ team in ensuring a Safety-First Culture is embedded, understood and delivered.
The ideal candidate for ourHealth & Safety Coordinatorrole:
You may already be working in a Health and Safety role or you maybe in a role where health and safety is large part of your remit and are keen to pursue this in your career.
Ideal industry sectors, waste management, recycling services, manufacturing, engineering, logistics or construction.
Youll need good computer literacy with all Microsoft Office applications.
You will have great communication skills.
You will have excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise deadlines.
You will have exceptional attention to detail.
