Quality Manager Stalbridge Permanent Mon - Fri £50K-£55K + Excellent Benefits

Our client is a world-renowned designer and manufacturer of bespoke engineering solutions, currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Manager to lead and manage the Quality team, ensuring the delivery of exceptional quality and continuous improvement across the site. This role also entails overseeing quality standards and managing the accreditation of current business certifications, including ISO9001, IATF16949, and AS9100.

The position of Quality Manager is integral to the business and requires the following qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of previous experience in Quality management, preferably in the engineering, aerospace, or automotive industries.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with customers.
  • Proficiency in composing clear and concise reports and documentation.
  • Expertise in problem-solving using LEAN, 6 Sigma, and other quality techniques to identify root causes and implement effective corrective/preventative actions.
  • Initiative, planning, and organisation skills.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office packages.
  • Demonstrable experience managing successful internal and external ISO audits.

Having the following qualifications would be advantageous, although not essential:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
  • Prior experience managing a team of quality experts.
  • Experience with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Product Part Approval Process (PPAP) requirements.

To be considered for the higher salary, a minimum of 5 years' experience as a Quality Manager in the aerospace or automotive industry is required.
