Class 1 Driver

We are currently looking a skilled and motivated Class 1 Driver to join our client in Stalybridge.

Deliveries to a dedicated customer, possible collection on the way back

Start times from 05.00 days and 16.00 on nights
Average 10-12 hrs shift

Tramping also available.

Key Responsibilities:
* Safely operate Class 1 vehicles.
* Conduct depot deliveries and collections, ensuring timely and efficient service.
* Secure loads properly to prevent shifting or damage during transport.
* Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any issues promptly.
* Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and other team members.


Pay rates PAYE (inc. holiday pay):
* 16.25/h days
* 17.37/h nights
* 19.05/h Saturday
* 20.17/h Sunday


Requirements:
* Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving license, CPC, Tacho card.
* Experience in general haulage and tramping.
* A clean driving record with no major endorsements.
* Minimum 12 months experience required.
