We are looking to recruit a Nursery teacher with strong knowledge of the new EYFS framework, and someone who is passionate about Outdoor learning. Does this sound like you?

Tradewind are looking to appoint an experienced Nursery teacher to teach in a single-form entry school in Stalyhill, Tameside. This is full-time class teacher post is a maternity cover and will commence January 2025. This position comes with a competitive salary which will reflect your experience and will consider all teachers with background experience in Early Years.

About the Role

The school are looking to appoint a teacher who adopts a patient and nurturing approach to support children at this fundamental stage of development.

We are looking for a teacher who:

  • Can work well as an individual as well as part of a team
  • Can form strong, trusting partnerships with parents
  • Demonstrates excellent classroom practice with a strong command of the EYFS framework

Essential requirements:

  • QTS Certification (or an equivalent teaching qualification)
  • Experience in an Early Years setting with excellent references to support this
  • A CV with 10 years employment history and explanations of any CV gaps
  • Be subject to an enhanced DBS check and Overseas Police Check (if applicable).
  • Have a right to work in the UK
