As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the classroom teacher and helping to create a nurturing learning environment where every child can thrive.
Your duties will include:
- Assisting with classroom activities, preparation, and learning materials
- Providing one-to-one or small group support to pupils who require additional help
- Helping to manage behaviour and support emotional well-being
- Supervising children during breaks and lunchtimes
- Assisting with assessments and providing feedback to teachers
What we're looking for:
- Experience working in a primary school or similar setting
- Strong communication skills with both children and adults
- A patient and empathetic approach to working with children
- A positive attitude and the ability to work well as part of a team
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent) are desirable but not essential for the right candidate.
