Accounts Administrator/Assistant 
  • Job Type: Part-time, 12 hours a week, 6-month contract

We are seeking an Accounts Assistant to support the Finance and Office Manager in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the department. This role involves a variety of administrative and accounts tasks.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Perform accounts payable and receivable tasks.
  • Credit control, chasing payments via phone and email.
  • Maintain the customer and invoicing database, ensuring all data is up-to-date.
  • Generate monthly spending reports for review by the office and finance manager.
  • Provide holiday cover for the sales administrator and the service and administrator.
  • Manage the ordering of stationery, packaging, and welfare supplies while keeping spending within budget.
  • Handle filing, scanning, and data inputting tasks as needed.
  • Produce monthly stock reports and manage exhibition stock requirements.
  • Answer telephone calls, handle office visitors, and manage scheduling for meetings.
  • Undertake any additional tasks as assigned by the finance and office manager.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably within a finance setting.
  • Strong skills in time management and personal organisation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word) and PDFs.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and operate in a team environment.
