Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision components according to specificationsAnalyse blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine machining operations and sequencesMonitor the machining process to ensure accuracy and quality of finished productsConduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC machinesCollaborate with the production team to optimise productivity and efficiencyAdhere to all safety guidelines and proceduresKeep accurate records of machine settings, production counts, and inspections

Requirements:

Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in the electrical industryProficiency in operating and setting up CNC machinesSound knowledge of machining principles and techniquesAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprintsStrong attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality workExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machining issuesGood communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a teamExceptional time management and organisational skillsFlexibility to work on a temporary contract basis

Contract and Pay:

This is a temporary position with the possibility of extension based on business needs

- Hourly rate: £15 to £16 per hour (depending on experience)
